Our Trustees

There are seven trustees who meet twice a year in October and March at St Mary's Church Hall, Brighton:

The trustees are appointed for a four year term of office and the Vicar of St Mary's, Brighton is always an ex-officio trustee.

The trustees are responsible for:

- maintaining proper accounting records which disclose with reasonable accuracy at any time the financial position of the trust;

- ensuring the assets of the trust are well managed and sustained to promote growth and generate a good level of income;

- safeguarding the assets of the trust and taking reasonable steps for the prevention and detection of fraud and other irregularities;

- making decisions about the allocation and use of the trust's funds with reference to the objects of the trust.

The trustees produce an Annual Report and Accounts for the year ending 31 March and make an annual return to the Charity Commission. The Chair of Trustees is currently responsible for the administration of our trust and no expenses are claimed by trustees.
